Jewelry is tough. There are few things that look better to the naked eye that are actually harder to photograph. The pieces tend to be small, delicate, shiny, reflective... all the things that make capturing great images difficult. But we rose to the challenge for this commercial for Osborne's Jewelers.
The client wanted to emphasize old-world craftsmanship along with the skill and artistry needed to create these beautiful pieces. For a little added drama, we chose to produce this with soft warm black-and-white photography for a more emotional feel.
Todd Terry wrote and directed the commercial, with Phil Schimdt producing and Joey Skelton editing. They were produced for the store's agency, RP Media.
